Summertime: The Living is Easy & Busy!

 I hope everyone is having a great summer and spending fun time with family and friends. My family has been quite busy this summer between sessions, building a house and keeping up with a busy toddler! 

We weren’t even looking to move. I’m the girl that scrolled Zillow everyday just to see what’s out there and when I saw our floor plan, I knew we had to go take a tour. We toured a different house in our new neighborhood and fell completely in love with the floor plan, the neighborhood and location so we decided to move forward with building our own. We started the process at the end of March and are set to close at the end of September!

Taking this leap of faith was something that just felt right in our hearts. Once we decided we wanted to move forward with building, the fun started! We met with one of the agents overseeing the neighborhood and were able to make our selections on things like flooring, cabinets, etc. Since this is a “semi-custom” house AND a spec home that they had already started on, we were slightly limited in what we were allowed to choose. But ultimately, the floorplan and finishings on the inside of the house were what were most important to us. I had way too much fun picking it all out!! At the moment, it really looks like they could finish tomorrow, haha! It’s coming along beautifully and we cannot wait to get in there and make our house a home.

We are keeping our days filled with fun and keeping up with a toddler. (If you know, you know!) I’ve had creative sessions this summer as well with others and their little ones by doing indoor baking photography sessions to beat the heat, mommy & me photography, pop-up milestones and much more! It’s been great to get those creative juices flowing on my end and capturing sweet times for these clients! If you are not in my email list please join to stay in touch!
