Parker and Natalie have THREE children!! Wade is the sweetest addition to their family and it’s always a joy capturing them together. I will never forget how Natalie told me she was pregnant. I was in between sessions one afternoon when I checked my snapchat and had a video from her. I had asked her earlier that day if she had a lifejacket I could borrow for Leighton so I figured she was sending me a picture of what she had. NOPE. She was videoing herself in the mirror and turned to the side and zoomed in on her bump. I remember saying “WHAT?!” I immediately sent her a video back like “ya got me, holy moly, congrats, this is awesome”. I then told her she didn’t have a choice, I was going to photograph their announcement photos which was just a blast!

I’ve lost count of how many wonderful sessions I’ve done of the Rikard family in the past several years but each one gets better and better! Eliza Kate is the best big sister to her two little brothers, Shep is a MESS in the best and funniest way and Wade was so calm, just along for the ride. One of my biggest pieces of advice for my clients during their session is to just go with the flow which Parker and Natalie have become pros at! Kids are unpredictable so we let them lead the way during sessions! By the time I was doing Wade’s individuals on the bean bag, Shep was OUT of there and EK went to fix her lunch and bring it upstairs to watch her baby brother – she’s adorable.
