This Lexington in-home newborn session was so sweet. From Blair and Nick’s love for their baby boy, to the amount of time and thought Blair put in to decorating Caiden’s Nursery. I’ve known Nick and Blair for a few years as I was their engagement and wedding photographer in 2020! I’ll never forget finding out I was pregnant and my due date being only two weeks away from their wedding date. One of the first things I did was tell Blair and she was SO kind and just happy for us. She still wanted her wedding shot under my brand so she opted for one of my associates to shoot her wedding and it went perfectly. I loved looking at their images afterward and being able to edit/celebrate them like I was actually there. She also sent the sweetest gift of some footies and other knick-knacks for Leighton in the mail. I’ll truly never forget her kindness.

In August of 2022, Blair and Nick welcomed me into their home just weeks after Caiden was born (7-14 days is the sweet spot!). They were (and still are) just smitten with Caiden and their new-found roles as mom and dad. Caiden loved being snuggled tight to Blair which is something so beautiful to see. Not shown below is the small break we took out on their front porch to help Caiden fall back to sleep! Going outside has some sort of magic for babies and I’m here for it! Thank you, Spano family, for yet again choosing me to document one of the best parts of your lives.
