As a photographer of all things “life” a wedding is something so special. I am being trusted to capture someone’s “Big Day”. I get to capture all of the details that include their invitations, reception space, florals, garter and more. I love being present all throughout the day to show the bride getting ready with her bridesmaids, the groom and groomsmen usually living carefree before show time. All of it is just a special time all around.

This weekend and wedding was no different. I captured the now Mr. and Mrs. Bakely at Southern Oaks in Gilbert, SC. Talk about a quaint but mighty venue! It has southern charm, elegance but a classic southern feel. The Bride stole the day in her dress and wore it perfectly. There is also something about a classic black and white wedding theme along with greenery, crisp white floral arrangements. OH! Don’t forget the Christmas trees shining bright throughout the wedding reception to highlight a December wedding.

Another part of working a wedding is getting to meet all of the fantastic vendors and venues we have in the area. Check out my list below if you are planning a wedding in 2024/2025.
