Hi, I’m Carly!

I’m 28 years old and I was born and raised in Lexington, South Carolina. I started dating my husband while we were still in high school in 2011. We got married in 2018 and had our first baby in 2020. I’m so incredibly blessed with my sweet family!

I never thought I’d be a photographer when I “grew up”. I always bounced  back and forth on career paths and it took a really hard first year of college to bring me to my passion for photography. It has taken me 8 years, 8 YEARS, to finally realize what I am meant to do with this talent I have. I started out doing pretty much any kind of session, then niched down to seniors and couples and by about my 2nd year, I was consistently booking weddings. I’ve been a wedding photographer full time for 4 years but it never felt like what I was “meant” to do. I’ve enjoyed it a ton but I knew that wasn’t my end game. Becoming a mom changed me in so many ways but it has really touched my business in a huge way. It doesn’t take long for you to realize how fleeting moments are when you have a child. The days are long, the years are short – so they say. 

My goal through my art is to take the calm and the chaos and all the moments in between and create tangible memories for your family to have forever. Our time together as families should be documented because before we know it (even though we don’t want to think about it), our children will be off on their own starting their families.
